Reviews
Made a booking online and arrived at this hotpot buffet restaurant today. From the moment my family and I arrived till we completed our session, the whole experience had been wonderful. The floor manager and the staff were very professional, friendly, polite and helpful. A large assortment of fresh noodles, tofus, vegetables, etc. were available for the hotpot. Each person has a choice of two soups for their hotpot experience. The variety of soup offered was very good. I had the tom yum and mushroom soup, which were very tasty. There were also fried dumplings and vegetable spring rolls that were tiny, cute, and tasty, and a large variety of food available for all. Desserts and fresh fruits were also available. Tables and cutlery were clean. The whole experience was simply fantastic, and it's one which we will certainly want to come back and experience again. Thumbs up.
My first visit to this splendid all-you-can-eat venue was nothing short of amazing! Mr. Beng (the manager) was an exceptional host and his many years of 5 star service was evident in his procedure and character. My partner and I were welcomed by him whilst he detailed the serving procedure that night.
We indulged in ready-cooked food while our hot pot soup base was prepared with many tasty items on offer. Once seated the hot-pot is served to you and brought to the boil on the installed hotplates, ready for your (raw) food to be cooked at your leisure. In minutes we indulged in simmered seafood with a choice of sauces that can be prepared in a separate section of the restaurant that is consumed with the cooked food from the hot pot. Next along the line were the meat and vegetable choices which ranged from lamb, beef and pork shaved rolls, gleefully done in under 4 minutes adding to the sensational degustation.
Finally the sweets selection is extensive to say the least, adding to the fundamentally filling fantasy of the first two courses.
All in all I was impressed that an allocation of 2 or so hours was more than enough to enjoy the delicacies on offer, however I would recommend several visits to truly mix-and match the many choices of foods on offer.
Apart from the excellent customer service, the efficiency of table-clearing and preparation left us both impressed as each visit we were supplied with fresh cutlery and utensils.
I ill not hesitate to attend again as there is just too much on offer when on your first visit alone!
It can become a little busy in the restaurant so a little caution is advised when carrying food back to your table!
An excellent experience all round - 10/10.
One of my all time fav gathering spots to dine in.
Spacious rooms and super B service. Especially, Uncle Ben, would definitely given 1000% of best service. Don’t have to worry when my mate are vegetarian or have special dietary requirements, I would say they have too much choices which could satisfy you.
Another specialty about this place is changing themed in dessert bar ,every season.
Variety of soup base. I preferred tomato soup base and Mala tang soup base. With a hint of spiciness in tomato soup 🥰🥰
Would definitely recommend and be back again ♥️♥️
We came here for our Christmas celebration hot pot buffet lunch and it is pretty good for its price. Who’s to complain when it’s only $23.95 per person but that’s only if you buy the pre-book package of $95.80 for 4 people. If you can’t round up 4 people, it’s $29.80 per person. The food at lunch was kind of basic but it’s acceptable. As usual they have different soup bases which you can choose two types. They even have a congee soup base, BUT … hot pot hack here: if you order the normal base, eg. tomato base / mushroom base, at the end just go to the congee section and get a bowl of congee and pour it into one of your soup bases, you get a super flavoured congee (great cure for hangover!). Just a warning, the sliced beef was kind of weird, like it was tenderised, take the Rolled Sliced beef instead. Towards the end, it was merely average for me until I had dessert. They had the famous Cantonese “Hamh Sui Gok” or Deep Fried Glutinuous Rice ball which is one of the best I’ve ever had, comparable to fancy restaurants. Make sure you get the “hot from the kitchen” ones. They have a Sweet White Fungus dessert which is healthy, until you make it not healthy by putting in some Jelly and Grass Jelly and if you like it super sweet, you can add sugar syrup. Very nice. My friend told me that the dinner is much better with a full array of seafood. For me, this is a “Can Come Back” rating. I will come to try their dinner next time and give you another review. UPDATE: we came back for dinner, and true enough, the selection of food is a lot more! More seafood, with crabs and different types of clams. Their custard egg tart was amazing with such fluffy pastry. Remember to buy their online discount package with 4 friends Must come back.
Came here for lunch. Do note that the lunch menu is different to the dinner menu and doesn’t have a lot of choices to choose from. No cooked seafood. No egg tarts, only jelly and sponge cake.
Loved the Sichuan hot pot base, delicious with the thin beef slices and veggies. The highlights for me was the century egg congee, very flavourful. The warm soy milk drink is fantastic, goes really well with the fried bread. The fried glutinous rice was crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside with some peanuts, yum!
Very good service, felt welcomed when we arrived, they cleared the plates efficiently too.
It was my 4th visit and each time I have been there, the standout is not only the food but the surprisingly good service! The hot pot experience here is great as it is very interactive way of eating with your family & friends. It is easy to enjoy it. I really love the sauce station here and the option of having some hot food items and sweets at the end. We usually do dinner but had the opportunity for a mid-week lunch which is such great value at around $30. Dinner options are more to choose from but lunch is just as satisfying. Drinks are quite large so you can share if you're not a big drinker and they do jug options too. There is a private dining room for an occasion if you wish to book. Quick online booking makes it an easy choice to come again and again.
The buffet hotpot is individual, you can pick any 2 combination from their selection of broths. (TomYum is fantastic)
They also have a good selection of raw and cooked food. And the desserts are nice and delicious. They also provide a sauce station where you can mix up your own dipping sauce from their wide range of ingredients.
The service is also attentive, especially the manager is very observant and helpful.
In terms of food quality, there's nothing much to complain, but also nothing that is outstanding. More or less, a typical buffet type, but for the price, it is pretty good choice.
*Parking can be hard to find depending on the time and day of the week.
**Restaurant has a little bit of clutter with boxes and stuff around.
Lots of food variety. Plenty of options for hot pot, good selection of cooked food including cheesy baked scallops and cold/salad dishes. You can choose 2 different soup bases for hot pot. I chose tom yum and congee - both were delicious. The dessert selection was amazing and all so delicious. The sesame ball with red bean had to be my fave!
